The UGC NET Exam is based on two Papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Tips for UGC NET Paper 1 Preparation
Teaching Aptitude is a purely theoretical topic. It will be a good strategy to use short notes to prepare it. You can use chart-based notes or any standard notes for preparation of this topic.The most important part to read in Teaching Aptitude is ‘Characteristics of Teacher and Student”.
To prepare this topic you have to study various research examples, method of research and types of research.
Comprehension reading requires a lot of practice on the passages. You can take help from various questions asked in Bank, SSC or in other competitive exams related to Comprehension reading.
Questions from Reasoning section that includes Mathematics also asked from the aptitude topics like Number series, codes, relationship, etc. So try to focus on these parts of the aptitude section.
The Logical Reasoning will be based on understanding the structure of arguments, word analogy, applied analogy, logical diagram of reasoning, etc. All you need to solve this type of questions is attempting mock test series on a regular basis. Try to solve at least 3-4 mock test in a day on the Logical Reasoning section.
