  • Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in their masters (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Transgenders Candidates).

  • Aspirants who are appearing or awaiting results for their final year exam of postgraduation are also eligible to apply for UGC NET.

  • There is no age limit for the aspirants who will appear in UGC NET for the post of Assistant Professor but for JRF, you should not cross 30 years of your age.

UGC NET Exam – Fill up the Application Form

Candidates who wish to appear in UGC NET Exam must have to fill the UGC NET Application Form.

UGC NET Admit Card – Download to get Entry in Exam Hall

After filling up the application form successfully, the next step is to download the UGC NET Admit Card.

The admit card is an entry pass to the exam center. Without this, you will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

UGC NET Exam Day – Appear with Complete Preparation

UGC NET is one of the toughest eligibility tests for the post of Assistant Professor in India. To crack this exam, you must have to appear in it with full preparation.

There will be two papers in UGC NET Exam i.e. Paper I and Paper II. In Paper I, there will be 50 question and in Paper II, there will be 100 questions.

You will get 3 hours to solve both these papers without any break in between the Papers.

The Paper I will test your ability in reasoning, comprehension, general awareness and in divergent thinking while Paper II will be based on the syllabus of the chosen subject by you.

UGC NET Exam – Know Your Result

After successful completion of the exam, you will have to wait for the UGC NET Result.

The result will be declared in the interval of 30-45 days after the exam date.
