Hello,
Every year lakh of candidates applies for IBPS exams. It’s an institute which makes career of number of candidates in banking sectors. There are different posts for which IBPS conducts examinations like IBPS PO, IBPS RRB, IBPS Clerk and IBPS SO.
IBPS PO is one of these exams in which number of candidates takes interests.

Candidates who are preparing for IBPS PO examination, eager to know about the Provisional Allotment for IBPS PO after qualifying in exam.
The Provisional allotment does not mean an offer of employment. It’s also counted in a stage of recruitment after Interview. Candidates should also have to pass in this stage to get a job for IBPS PO.

IBPS PO Provisional Allotment:
There is a question in lots of candidate’s minds “What is a Provisional Allotment?”
Answer for this question can be given in simple words that “When a candidate gets qualified in both written examination and Interview and cleared the cut offs then IBPS shortlists those candidates and allot them one of the participating bank.”
These allotments are done based on merit list & preference order of the candidates.
Merit lists are made based on mark obtained by candidates in mains examination and Interview.
Those candidates who scored same marks will be listed in the merit list as per their date of birth, that one candidates which is elder than the other one should be choosen.
Process After Provisional Allotment:
The main role of banks starts after the allotment of banks.
The bank allotted to the candidates will send an appointment or joining letter through Email id or sending to the correspondence address.
The information in letter includes:
Date of reporting
Date for Training
Document Verification
Medical Tests details
Training Session:
Banks conducts training sessions for all the selected candidates. Some banks conducts the training before joining and some conducts after joining, it’s all depends upon bank policies.
The training session needs 15-20 days which are organised at banks’ training centres.
In these training sessions candidates provided knowledge about normal banking procedures.
After completion of training period, candidates are provided with their Probationary Officer post in banks.
Important note:
The candidates who are put in the waiting list need to worry. The next set of allotments will be carried out from this list.
The decisions taken by IBPS for allotments will be the final one.
The provisional allotment is done to ensure your eligibility criteria for the satisfaction for allotting banks.
A Reserve list is also made by the IBPS, to extent the vacancies for each category approximately 10 Percent.

Enter your registration number/Roll number
Enter your Password
Click on Submit button
After clicking on submit button you will get a list for IBPS PO Provisional Allotment.
